Illegal work has been done on the inland track to Pieman Heads.
Parks have had nothing to do with it and are investigating. A rumour circulating suggests that Parks are to close access to Pieman Heads. Due to the necessity for shackowners to access their properties, this is false. There is significant illegal activity on the West Coast at the moment. Illegal shacks being built, illegal tracks being put in south of Gorge point in the SWCA. Lake Spicer access has been illegally opened up, enabling the gate to be bypassed. Some land has changed classification as a result of the Intergovernmental Agreement on Forestry. Ocean Beach is now a conservation area. Lands around Granville and Trial harbours are now not crown land, changed to Heemskirk Regional Reserve. North of Granville to the Pieman is now Four Mile Beach Regional Reserve.
